Heather will be singing with Ted Beament in a beautiful ‘olde worlde’ pub called The Duck Inn. They will be playing from 7.30pm- 10.30pm. The food is excellent and the grand piano, friendly atmosphere and music from a bygone era makes for a very special night out.

The Swinging Belles accompanied by Chris Kibble will be performing for Southend Council’s new ‘bandstand’. This will be a wonderful Sunday afternoon concert as the girls sing songs from the Boswell Sisters and Andrews Sisters. Further information to follow.

Heather will be singing with Wheatley’s Arcadians for a 1930/40’s dance. This will be a fabulous night for ballroom dancers and swing dancers with Heather and the Arcadians being the headlining act of the evening. More details to follow about tickets etc. Please keep this date free.

Heather will be continuing her residency with Tim Huskisson at the Westcliff Hotel. The music is free to both diners and people who would just like to have a drink. They start at 7.30pm and play ’til 10.30pm. The music pays tribute to 1920’s and 30’s singers such as Annette Hanshaw, Billie Holiday, Sophie Tucker and many more.

Tuesday, May 27th, 2008:
Dave Dulake has asked Heather to join the musicians who play at ‘Digby’s Place’. This intimate little club was started by Digby Fairweather who plays there on the 2nd Tues of each month. Now Heather is also going to host a night, the intention being that eventually there will be some really fantastic music every single Tues. However word needs to spread…… This is Heather’s first night at the venue and she has invited the fabulous Ted Beament to play piano. Ted was Humphrey Lyttelton’s pianist for the last ten years. He is amazing!!!!
The music starts at 8pm. There will be an interval where Dave’s wind up gramophone gets an airing to play some wonderful old 78’s. If you have an old favourite 78 please bring it along to share with us!
The admission is £5. Wear what ever takes your fancy. Top hats and bowlers are particularly welcome.
See you at upstairs at The Railway Hotel, Westcliff. The maximum seating is 60 so please arrive early if you are coming with extended family.
